Making an appointment at Cancer Care Center of Thornton, is considered a priority with our front desk staff, nurses, and physicians. All referrals from primary care practitioners, physician specialists and self-referrals are given immediate priority. The anxiety and stress associated with an initial diagnosis are clearly understood and our experienced staff will strive to keep delays for appointments at a minimum. We also welcome the opportunity to provide second opinions. Our exceptional physicians and staff will do their very best to help you and your family through these difficult times.
We accept most insurance carriers; commercial, Medicare and Medicaid. We not only want to help ensure that you will have the coverage you need but to try and help eliminate the worry, so you can concentrate on treatment and recovery.
For your first appointment we ask that you provide:
- Your insurance cards
- Current address. Let us know whenever you change your address, telephone number, employment, marital status or insurance
- A list of all medications that you are currently taking (including over-the-counter medications, vitamins and herbal supplements)
- Any questions or concerns that you may have to discuss with your physician
- Someone to help listen to your physician’s comments and responses to your questions, if you wish

We understand that emergencies can occur and special needs may arise; we will do our very best to accommodate your specific needs. We request that should you need to cancel an appointment that you provide as much notice as possible in order for us to enable another patient to see the doctor.
