A native of St. Louis, Dr. Kevin Schewe received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia after which he attended the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, Inc. There he completed both his internship and residency in radiation oncology. He has gained extensive experience working throughout the country in a variety of clinical settings. Dr. Schewe is a thought leader in his field and has been instrumental in the development and implementation of new treatment techniques for patients battling cancer.
As the Medical Director for the Cancer Care Center of Thornton, Dr. Schewe, a board-certified radiation oncologist, has extensive expertise in treating a wide variety of cancer types offering patients the latest radiation therapy technologies. One particular area of interest for Dr. Schewe is his Partial Breast Irradiation program for patients with early-stage breast cancer where he has successfully treated 500 cases in the past six years. In his spare time, Dr. Schewe enjoys reading, traveling, skiing and spending time with his two children.
